Green Belt Access
The Carrollton GreenBelt is a 18-mile shared-use path designed for pedestrians and non-motorized users. Once complete, the trail will connect existing neighborhoods with the city school campus, the University of West Georgia, the city parks, and several commercial shopping areas.
The Carrollton GreenBelt is the largest green-space and green-way conservation project that the City of Carrollton has undertaken. It will also be the largest paved loop trail system in the state of Georgia.
Carrollton Bike Share
The program, which is 100% sponsored by Tanner Health System, the University of West Georgia and Southwire Company, will move Carrollton another step closer to, quoting Tanner’s famous initiative – getting healthy and living well. The initiative provides 50 cruiser bikes docked in 10 stations that allow the program members to grab a bike to explore the Carrollton GreenBelt.
Awesome, very well maintained compound. A huge area, with multiple baseball, softball, soccer, and lacrosse fields, also a skateboard park, bicycle/jogging/walking track and a large enclosed gym. The "Chamber of Commerce", etc. is also located in this area.
