Super Y League

Summer Program

By joining the Super Y League, the Georgia Storm have provided a quality platform for West Georgia players to continue their development while also giving players opportunities for national exposure.

Founded in 1999, the Super Y League is the largest summertime coast-to-coast elite travel soccer league operated in the US, and ends with large National Championship even in Florida for the top teams each December. Affiliated with US Soccer and partnered with US Club Soccer, the league is designed for talented youth players destined for professional or international careers.

As a key part of the Georgia Storm’s Player Development Pathway to the Pros, Super Y provides a “proving ground” for players seeking to advance to our U.S. Soccer Development Academy teams in both Maryland and Virginia. The summer program includes competing in games throughout the South Atlantic region, but is more about improving players’ technical skills and decision making than it is about winning games. Through Olympic Development (ODP) status programs and events such as the North American Finals and National ODP Camps, the nation’s top players are selected for US National Team Programs.

Open try-outs – for the Super Y Program is in February/March

Requires Commitment – the Super Y Program soccer requires a firm commitment of time and money by both the player and the parent.
