Storm Youth Academy

Academy Overview

Academy level soccer in Georgia Soccer is considered to be the next level from recreational level soccer and provides a development platform for full Select, Regional, and National level competition. Our Academy program is designed to develop players 9U through 12U. Players younger than 9U are welcome to try out and historically we have advanced players as young as 6U straight into the Academy program. 

Our goal is to provide a professional and structured training program designed to prepare younger players to transition to the next level of competitive soccer. All Academy age groups practice two nights per week but players may also participate in optional additional supplemental training sessions. 

We try to have most of the season's matches on Saturdays but depending upon schedule conflicts and opportunities with other clubs some of the Academy schedules will be on Sundays as well. Please note that when possible we also try to provide each player with 2 matches per Academy event day. 

Georgia Storm believes that the Academy Program is the best development option for our young players that want to reach the next competitive level. Our academy coaches all hold coaching licenses and are committed to getting our young players the technical and tactical abilities they need in order to succeed at the next level.



The fees for the Academy Program are similar to the Select program that we offer older age group (U12+). As well our fees reflect the higher level of commitment, training, and coaching provided to our academy players.
